Artist- The Late Skydancer

The piece above is called "STRUCTURE"

Born in 1939, Skydancer has long been an award-winning artist. Her style, she says, is whatever the moment calls for. She brings to computer art a dramatic array of talents and techniques. She can draw, paint, sculpt and more. She commands an impressive library of software tools, including Bryce, Painter, Photoshop, Poser, XenoDream (beta), Fo2PiX, and various modelers, plug-ins and filters to these programs. The following images were mostly rendered in Bryce, very often from art drawn or rendered in other programs and finally post-processed in Photoshop. Her ability to integrate the output of these various software programs is a hallmark of her work. Her art is spiritually-driven, and she is a student of Buddhism, the martial arts and shamanism. She says she draws with light.

I chose this peace because I really like art work I am finding that has a piece that stands out and the rest of the piece still.  I feel it really gives off a chic appearance.  I can really see this artwork hanging in my house.  The tones used are of my kitchen and dinning room.  I like the information presented on skydancer.  She was the type of artist that painted however she was feeling at the moment.  I am that type of person so I feel I can relate to the artist.  As the above paragraph quotes Skydancer is well rounded in many different soft wares.  The above piece majority was done in the software Bryce.  Skydancer passed away August 10th 2007.

  1. Nice find... Cool that even as an older person, she embraced the new and worked digitally!
