Carlos Bacha

"Carlos Bacha is a surrealist artist in Brazil. He says he is a "schizophrenia-bearer" and that his work is about his deliriums and suffering that "prove of the pathology of schizophrenia." He is 30 years old and has used Photoshop, Poser and Vue for ten years " (Moca Art/Carlos Bacha).

I chose this artist because I like his style of art and his pieces are realistic.  I feel they capture a person's feelings.  I like how the bottom picture is airy and cause you to think and I like how the top picture cause you to think and feel about love.

JOEL MARIANO- DIGITAL ART

Joel Mariano was born in the Philippines but he grew up here in the states in San Francisco, California.  He graduated his undergrad in Fine Arts from the University of La Verne, CA in 1984.  He remembered how much as a child how he loved looking at TV so close to see the phosphors and the way the screen moved so he completed his Master's degree in experimental animation at the California Institute for the Arts, in Valencia, CA.  he finished his master's degree in 1987.

He loves oil painting and water color by using imaging and 3d computer graphics such as video synthesis to bring the image to life.  The story on Mariano says that "Many people who buy his art have no idea how it is done.  It is simply beautiful"  (MOCA Art/Joel Mariano

Romesh Mistry

In my visit to MOCA I liked the work of Romesh Mistry and how Using Cyber Tools and Effects, on the computer caused him to venture in to cyber art (or digital art) in 1996. While playing with the computer,  Mistry found the tools and effects available within it amazing, it gave unlimited scope to soar high in to the world of imagination with very high speed.

Mistry won 10th place in the international competition. Top Ten Digital Realities organized by Artrom Gallery, in Rome, and Italy in January 2009 selected in an international exhibition on the theme, Celebrate Her Story; organized by Manhattan Arts International, NY, and USA in 2009

I played with Mandelbulb and came up with some pretty good images. This was a pretty fun activity and I enjoyed seeing the fractals in 3D.
I also found a artist on MOCA, Roy F Goldberg, who does a lot of his artwork using 3D fractals here are a few of his pieces.

Some of my works.
Though having some troubles with the other ones.
Amazing what you can do on your computer.

MOCA

I found this image during my latest visit to the MOCA. I found this image so interesting. I am a big fan of the alien movies and this has a similar feel. It appears to be very HR Geiger influenced. It was created by artist Gills Tran who mainly uses free ware programs to create his art such as cinema 4d and pov-ray.

grappa

Using the provided links I was able to create some fun and interesting art pieces. Unfortunately the actually grappa links did not work for me but using the other links allowed me to create the following. I hope you enjoy, I know I did creating them.

Fractals

Drazen Jerkovic is a self-taught artist who was born and live in Zagreb, Croatia. He got his start 2006 when he got his first computer. He discovered graphics art which became his passion. He  discovered fractal images and created his first image, "my fractal journey".  His work is eye catching and is really cool how he creates these images.
